REPORTS TO: Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Administration
PURPOSE: To serve as a resource to welcome, direct, and enhance the worship experience
ORGANIZATION/MEMBERS/STRUCTURE:
- Team Leader
- Vice Leader
- 8 Groups of Volunteers: Total of 44-60 men, allowing each man to serve 1 service per month
- 1st service: 4-person Groups; 2nd service: 6-person Groups
- Group size depends on Deacons assisting with offering and Deacons on duty (2 or 4)
- 5th Sunday is typically served by Student Ministry - Coordinated through Minister of Students
TERM OF SERVICE:
- Team Leader and Vice Leader serve a 3-year term
- Volunteers have no time limit on service
QUALIFICATIONS:
- All Team must be active members of Hillcrest
- Must have a willingness to serve
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Greet people
- Assist with seating
- Distribute handouts/materials as needed
- Collection of offering plates
- Serve as needed for special events
- Attend annual training
SCRIPTURE: (Mark 10:45) For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.
