 Hillcrest Worship Choir- The main role of the Choir is simple: to Worship God and invite others to join you. Our Worship Choir consists of vibrant volunteers who make up our main worship team on Sunday mornings. This Choir is not auditioned and is open to anyone who has a heart for worship. Our Choir is open to High School and above*. We honor God by bringing our very best to each service. Wednesday rehearsals are one of the best ways to come prepared.

 Sunday Morning Praise Band- The main role of the Praise Band is simple: to Worship God and invite others to join you. Our Praise Band is our primary instrumentation for our Sunday morning services. This volunteer group is auditioned, so some experience is required. While we are not looking for professional musicians, we want to be a people who are continually learning and striving to become better musicians each week.

 Praise Team- The main role of the Praise Team is simple: to Worship God and invite others to join you. Our Praise Team is an auditioned group of volunteer vocalists pulled from the Worship Choir each week. This group is an extension of our Worship Choir and is placed strategically on the platform to help our Choir lead worship in a more personal way. As an extension of the Choir, you are closer to the congregation, so you can more personally connect with them when singing your vocal part and/or solo as needed. A confident ability to sing both melody and harmony is required. 

 Front-of-House Audio Engineer- The main role of the FOH Audio Engineer is simple: to Worship God and invite others to join you. Our Front of House Audio Engineer mix the audio for the Worship Center. These trained individuals help mix sound in a non-distracting way to assist in worship on Sunday mornings. The second role is to provide Front of House or Back of House sound reinforcement engineering, sensitive to the style and type of music and musicians while providing a comfortable yet energetic worship environment. Previous Front of House experience at a church is required, but training is available for those with a heart to learn and serve. A clear understanding of live sound consoles, signal flow, Dante® audio networking, and live sound-mixing techniques is required.

 Media Tech- The main role of a Media Tech is simple: to worship God and invite others to join you. Our Media Technicians are responsible for controlling media from multiple sources and ensuring that it is used in the most effective manner possible. This includes presenting song lyrics, videos, text, verses, and sermon notes to congregation members and providing these elements to on-stage personnel via confidence monitoring. Good working knowledge of the Mac computer platform is required, and experience with ProPresenter presentation software is preferred.

 Production Audio Engineer -The main role of a Production Audio Engineer is simple: to Worship God and invite others to join you. A Production Audio Engineer is part of our Online Sound Team, which is responsible for creating and mixing audio for live and recorded events. These events include live streams of services and the production of broadcast content. The second role of Production Audio The second role of the Production Audio Engineer is to ensure that music and voices are heard in a way that is pleasing to those broadcast or remote streaming. A clear understanding of sound consoles, signal flow, Dante® audio networking, and production sound mixing techniques is required. Previous Audio Engineer experience at a Church is required, but training is available for those with a heart to learn and serve.

 Production Tech- The main role of a Production Tech is simple: to Worship God and invite others to join you. Members of our Production Team serve to ensure that services are available to reach people by broadcast or remote streaming. These positions include camera operators, video switchers, and computer graphics (Lyrics). They work together to ensure that the Gospel can be presented to people in a meaningful way to those outside the walls of our church.

 Lighting Tech- Lighting and Programming Experience and Church Membership Preferred, Not Required. The main role of a Lighting Tech is simple: to Worship God and invite others to join you. Our Lighting Techs ensure that lighting enhances the worship service and matches the needs of each service for those in attendance as well as in video production. Duties range from lighting design programming, and maintenance. Experience with DMX programming is preferred but not required.
